Booking Confirmation and Payment

  1. 50% of the total amount must be paid upon booking, as without payment we cannot confirm your place, and your cargo/car will not be picked up by our Logistics team.

Invoice Payment Deadline

  1. This invoice must be fully paid within 30 days from the booking date.

Late Payment Fees

  1. Failure to fully settle this invoice within 30 days will incur 20% weekly fees, which must be paid before your shipment is collected.

Liability for Undeclared Goods

  1. We are not responsible for any loss or damages to goods that are not declared or that we do not know about. We encourage all our customers to have separate insurance in place.

  1. We are not an insurance broker or a financial institution.

Refund Policy in the UK

  1. A full refund of the total invoice is payable by us in case of loss or theft of boxes/cars in our possession in the UK.

Refund Policy in Democratic Republic of The Congo

  1. 50% of the total invoice is payable by us in case of loss or theft of boxes/cars in our care in the Democratic Republic of The Congo.

Booking Fees for Coverage

  1. £500 per car and £50 per box must be paid upon booking to ensure total loss of your car/cargo is covered and will be refunded in full up to £5000 in case of loss or theft. If not paid upon booking, then sections 6 and 7 will apply. 8a. All contracts between us and car shippers end once the container is unloaded in Matadi or the first destination port. Full responsibility of owners applies from then. Driver arrangements must be made by owners/car shippers at their own expense.

Professional Loading Standards

  1. Your car/cargo is loaded in the container by a professional, adhering to legal shipment standards.

Collection Responsibility in the Democratic Republic of The Congo

  1. Once the container arrives in the Democratic Republic of The Congo, it is the responsibility of the shipper/client to collect their car/cargo within 48 hours before storage charges start.

Acceptance of Terms and Cooling Off Period

  1. You agree and are legally bound to our terms and conditions the moment your booking is confirmed. A 14-day cooling-off period applies, during which total and full payment is refunded in case of booking cancellation. No refund is given after the cooling-off period has passed.

Compensation Claim Process

  1. The process for making a compensation claim is to submit a claim in writing or via email to our Finance department, providing all evidence of full payments.
